GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ME

Hi there, my name is Elibeth. Fifteen years ago, I discovered my love for yoga. I still remember that day when I attended my first-ever yoga class in Cumaná, Venezuela. I arrived on my own, and it was a Hatha class. The instructor guided us through a variety of postures, and at the end we had a long relaxation session. I remember feeling calm, connected to myself, and having a clearer mindset. Not long after that, I knew I wanted to share this practice with everyone I knew. I completed my first yoga teaching training in Caracas, Venezuela, and a few years later, I traveled to India to learn the traditional way. I also did some additional training in the UK.

I have a passion for Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow style of yoga. It's a yoga style where the breath always comes first, guiding a continuous flow of movement and allowing you to stay grounded in the present moment. The idea is to come to the understanding that what has happened is in the past, what will happen is uncertain, and the only real thing we have in life is the present moment. As you read this text, what is happening now is life. How can we make every moment count? How can we become more present, more mindful and more intentional.

In my classes, I aim to bring you to the present moment with the help of nature, music, aromatherapy, asanas, Drishti (gaze), and of course, the breath. Every class has a carefully thought-out intention, and we will work through a series of asanas that support the intention of the practice. This intention will give you an idea of how to interconnect yoga from the mat to your day-to-day life because yoga is a lifestyle and not just about asanas.
