IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT THE PHYSICALITY OR THE BREATH
It’s about the conscious effort and the mindful presence we bring to each posture. As we hold a challenging pose, our mind is fully engaged, focusing on the alignment of our body, the sensations that arise, and the thoughts that come and go. This awareness spills over into our daily life, providing us with the strength and resilience to navigate the demanding positions and situations we encounter. Those postures on our mat become metaphors for the positions we must assume in life, ones that require effort, determination, and a level of consciousness.
And in this beautiful dance between body and mind, the mind learns from what the body does in yoga. The wisdom gained through the physical practice, shape our thoughts, perceptions, and actions.
