EVERYTHING I TELL YOU TO DO IS AN INVITATION

People come to a yoga class for so many reasons: to become more flexible, to have better mobility, to try something different, to find relaxation, to search for a connection with themselves. There are all types of bodies coming to the practice, both flexible and not flexible. But this practice is for everyone!

If what I tell you to do doesn't feel right in your body, it's okay to make adjustments. The practice is about listening to your body, allowing the breath to guide your movements, and finding the balance between comfort and pushing yourself too hard!

I appreciate it when people listen to themselves and take a child's pose when they need it. Because at the end of the day, when you stand on your yoga mat, it's a space for yourself.

Your practice will vary from day to day, and that's when the yoga practice starts teaching you something beyond physical exercise. It's about learning about yourself and your inner dialogue.
